Candidates will be pre-screened through our staffing firm to determine qualifications for long-term, and/or permanent opportunities. Background screening is required as a condition of employment. Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical. The ideal candidate(s) must have 2 years of maintenance experience in a multi-family housing setting, technical certifications would be a plus. Penn Apartment Staffing Job Description Penn Apartment Staffing is seeking to fill a Porter/Groundskeeper position for an apartment community in Houston, TX . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments to ensure the community is neat, clean, free from clutter and safe. RESPONSIBILITIES: Pick up all trash from the grounds, parking areas, and perimeters first thing each morning and throughout the day. Keep all common area clean and free of clutter and debris; including mail box areas. Sweep around all dumpsters; including power washing quarterly.
